Day 1: Los Angeles - San Francisco.

We depart Los Angeles at 9:00 am. Taking the I-5, we are to pass the suburban and agricultural areas of Southern and Central California. Arrival in San Francisco in late afternoon. During your free time, you may wish to visit Chinatown, enjoy a cable car ride, or take an evening walk along the famous Fisherman's Wharf.

2 nights in San Francisco.

Day 2. San Francisco City Tour.

The entire day is dedicated to getting to know "The City by the Bay", San Francisco. Our local guide will share with us an in-depth history of the city, and show us all of the city's points of interest including: Downtown, Twin Peaks, Civic Center, St. Mary's Cathedral, Old Mission Dolores, the Holocaust Memorial, Golden Gate Park, the Financial District, Fisherman's Wharf, Union Square, Palace of Fine Arts, and Alamo Square. Evening at leisure.

Day 3. San Francisco - Monterey - 17-Mile Drive - Carmel - San Simeon.

Today we get acquainted with the beauty of the Monterey Peninsula. A picturesque drive along the Pacific Ocean takes us through Steinbeck's Cannery Row. We then enjoy a ride along the world-famous 17-Mile Drive, making photo stops along the way. Admire the amazing white sands of Pebble Beach, as well as the Lone Cypress, a famous California landmark. Then on to Carmel, to take a stroll around this charming, artistic town. After lunch, we continue our journey, arriving San Simeon in the evening. Here, by the Pacific Ocean, we will spend the last night of our trip.

Day 4. San Simeon - Hears Castle - San Louis Obispo - Los Angeles.

This morning, we continue along the colorful Pacific Coast Hwy to the famous Hearst Castle in San Simeon, where we are to view an IMAX film about the history of this magnificent place, and take a 2-hour guided tour of the 125-room Castle. Stop for lunch in San Luis Obispo, then, passing by the picturesque cities along the central and southern California coast, all the while enjoying the views of the Pacific Ocean and listening to the narration of our guide. In the evening, we arrive in Los Angeles.
