Day 1: Arrive in Albuquerque, NM.
Arrive in Albuquerque and take a drive to Santa Fe, New Mexico's capital city. Upon arrival to Santa Fe, take a walking tour of the city, which includes: Old Town Santa Fe, Santa Fe Plaza, the San Miguel Mission, the Cathedral of St. Francis of Assisi, Loretto Chapel's "Miracle Staircase", Cristo Rey Church, and Opera House.

Day 2: Santa Fe - Bandelier National Monument - Los Alamos - Santa Fe.
This morning, take a drive to Bandelier National Monument. Enjoy a tour of the cliff dwellings and ancient Indian pueblos dating back to the 12th century. Then on to Los Alamos to learn the history of the Manhattan Project, and to make a stop at the Bradbury Science Museum for a tour and a movie. Return to Santa Fe in the afternoon. This evening, why not visit a museum or one of the many exquisite art galleries, or perhaps explore the Palace of the Governors.
Day 3: Santa Fe - Albuquerque - Ruidoso.
Begin the day by taking in a tour of the State Capitol Building in Santa Fe.
Then on to Albuquerque, where you can take a walk through Old Town, site of the city's original settlement. After lunch, a scenic drive brings you to Ruidoso, a picturesque town surrounded by woods. By evening you are free to take a stroll around this authentic village filled with fine art galleries and unique shops.

Day 4: Ruidoso - White Sands - Cloud Croft - Carlsbad.
In the morning, head for the White Sands National Monument, where snow white dunes of gypsum and lunar landscapes are awaiting you. Then, take a drive along the picturesque mountain highway to the alpine village of Cloud Croft, where you can take a walk around this cozy, western town, surrounded by beautiful vistas. Evening brings you to Carlsbad.
Night in Carlsbad, NM.
Day 5: Carlsbad - Carlsbad Caverns - El Paso, TX.
Today, visit Carlsbad Caverns National Park, exploring the largest caverns in the western hemisphere. Then proceed to El Paso for a tour of the city, which includes: downtown, Camino Real Paso Del Norte, Mills Building, Plaza Hotel, Central Square, and the University. Afterwards, head for the airport for your flight back home.
