From Sacramento, CA to Los Angeles, CA.
 
Day 1: Arrive in Sacramento.

Conduct a walking tour of the Old Town. Pony Express Monument. Visit the State Capitol Building. Tour the Downtown area.

Night - Sacramento.


Day 2: Sacramento - Mono Lake - Mammoth Lakes.

This morning leave for the beautiful Mono Lake, located in the foothills of Sierra Nevada Mountains. Then, continue on to Mammoth Lakes.

Night - Mammoth Lakes.

Day 3: Mammoth Lakes - Lake Tahoe.

Upon arrival in Lake Tahoe, check in to a hotel, and then, drive around the lake, stopping at the viewpoints for pictures. Take a paddle wheeler scenic lake cruise.

2 nights - Lake Tahoe

Day 4: Tahoe - Virginia City - Carson City - Tahoe.

Go back into the history, and visit Virginia City and Carson City. Take a guided tour of the Silver Mine and the trolley tour in Virginia City.

Day 5: Lake Tahoe - Los Angeles.

Drive back to Los Angeles, making photo stops and a lunch stop at the places that we recommend in our Insider's Secrets.
