From Los Angeles or San Francisco, CA; roundtrip.
 
Day 1: Arrive in Fresno, CA.

Tour the Downtown Area. Also, there is an excellent attraction for the kids in the area (please check our Insider's Secrets). Hotel check in.


Day 2: Fresno - Bass Lake.

A two - lane mountain highway brings you to Pine Village, where you are to settle for 3 nights on the shore of Bass Lake. Activities available here include fishing, jet skiing, power boating, swimming. Water temperatures during the summer months are 80°F. For the night activities you may want to consider driving to the neighboring town of Oakhurst, where there is a little cute downtown area, with a choice of restaurants, a modern shopping center and a bowling alley.

Night in Fresno.

Day 3: Bass Lake.

The day at leisure on the lake. If your hotel does not have a private beach, or you don't like it, please check our Insider's Details for a reference to an excellent clean and secluded stretch of sandy beach a short drive away.
Day 4. Bass Lake (- Yosemite NP).

Take a short drive into the Yosemite National Park (please see our Free Itinerary). A ride on Sugar Pine Railroad will enhance your vacation experience. Spend the whole day in the park, or return to Bass Lake and enjoy the balance of the day on the lake. Make an evening BBQ on the lake shore at a cozy beach park, that we recommend in our Insider's Secrets. These family moments will stay in your memory.

Day 5. Bass Lake - Los Angeles (or San Francisco).
