Day 1: Arrive in Milan.
Arrive in one of the fashion capitals of the world, Milan. Hotel check-in and rest. Night in Milan.
Day 2: Milan - Lugano (Switzerland) - Lake Como - Milan.
Today we get acquainted with the beautiful lakes of Como and Lugano, as well as with the charming resort town of Lugano (city tour). We also enjoy a pleasant boat ride across Lake Como to the charming village of Bellagio, one of the most beautiful little towns in Europe.
Night in Milan.
Day 3: Milan - Verona - Padua.

This morning we take a tour of Milan, which includes views of Teatro Alla Scalla, the magnificent Gothic Cathedral and the glass-domed Galleria, which houses some of the most famous fashion designers' shops and boutiques. Afterwards, we head for Verona, the home of Shakespeare's star-crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet. City tour includes the 2,000 year old Arena, where concerts and Operas are performed even today, Juliet's Balcony and statue, and the lively market square. In the evening we arrive in Padua, where you can explore the historic downtown.

Day 4: Padua - Venice - Padua.
This morning, we take a private boat across the Venetian Lagoon to get acquainted with one of the most romantic cities in the world. The all-day Venice excursion includes a city tour, St. Mark's Basilica, St. Mark's Square, and the Grand Canal. During your free time you may want to visit the Doges' Palace, see a demonstration of Venetian glass-blowing, take a gondola ride, and cool off with some gelato (ice cream), at its birthplace, Venice!
Night in Padua.
Day 5: Padua - Florence.
In the morning, we head for the Renaissance city of Florence. Walking tour includes the Piazza Santa Croce, the Piazza Signori a, Santa Maria Del Fiore, Giotto's Bell Tower, and the bronze "Gate of Paradise". Evening at leisure.
Night in Florence.
Day 6: Florence - Siena - Pisa - Florence.
This morning we head for the well-preserved medieval town of Sienna. A walking tour includes Piazza del Campo, the Bell Tower, and City Hall. Afterwards, we continue our journey to Pisa, where we stop to admire the Square of Miracles, the Cathedral, and of course the world-famous Leaning Tower. Evening brings us back to Florence.
Night in Florence.
Day 7: Florence.
Today we continue getting acquainted with Florence, the magnificent capital of Tuscany. The highlight of the day is a guided tour of one of the largest art museums in the world, the Galleria degli Uffizi. Afternoon at leisure. Florence is a shopper's dream-come-true, so you may wish to take advantage of the leather and gold bargains.

Day 8: Florence - Naples - Sorrento.
Heading south, we pass plenty of vineyards and olive groves of Tuscany, Umbria, and Campagna, before reaching the Bay of Naples. A guided tour of Naples follows, and then on to our hotel in downtown Sorrento.

Day 9: Sorrento - Capri - Sorrento.
A hydrofoil boat takes us across the bay to the Isle of Capri, where we stroll Capri Village, and take a short walk to the other side of the island to see the Gardens of Caesar Augustus. During free time on the island, why not take a trip to the famous Blue Grotto, or perhaps explore the fashionable boutiques. Afterwards, we "return to Sorrento", and enjoy the afternoon at leisure. Time to catch up on souvenir shopping in the charming Old Town, or relax with a shot of lemoncello, Sorrento's specialty drink.

Day 10: Sorrento - Pompeii - Rome.
A guided tour of Pompeii is today's highlight. See patrician homes, public baths, and commercial districts that were frozen in time by an eruption of Versuvius in 79 A.D. After lunch, we continue our journey to historic Rome.
Night in Rome.
Day 11: Rome.
We start the day with a tour of the "Eternal City", which includes the Roman Forum, the Coliseum, Piazza Navona, and of course the Trevi Fountain, where you may wish to throw in a coin to ensure your return to the lively ancient capital. Lunch at a typical Italian tavern. Remainder of the day at leisure.
Night in Rome.
Day 12: Rome.
This morning we begin with a guided tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Then on to St. Peter's Square and Basilica. Free time in the afternoon. An evening tour of Rome by bus, with all the famous sites illuminated, is the perfect way to end this exciting day.
Night in Rome.
Day 13: Rome - return home.
Today we say "Arriverderci Roma", and proceed to Rome Fiumicino Airport for our flight back home.
